I find it hard to believe that during the playoffs (when half-court offense matters) when the Hawks decided to double-team IT at all costs & dare the C's to make 3-pt shots, that the potential threat of a .686% Free Throw-shooting 6'11" Okafor commanding a double-team from Horford/Milsap & Korver/Teague would not have freed up IT/Crowder to either shoot in open space or drive to the basket in an open lane to either layup or pass to Smart/Jerebko for uncontested shots. ET's mid-range game/Sully's post-game was all for naught when our offense stalled on multiple occasions & easy baskets/put-backs by 6'9" Sully/Amir were denied by either Milsap blocks or basket ghosts. 6'10" Derrick Favors (25 next month) is just scratching the surface of his All-Star potential while his former Nets team is rebuilding yet again after trading him for "All-Star" Deron Williams (who, like Butler, had subtle injury concerns before the trade occurred). Point being don't look a gift horse in the mouth. If you want rim-protection in the starting lineup to cover for Okafor's defensive limitations, then insert Jordan Mickey, pay for Hassan Whiteside, or trade for Gobert/Chandler because Noel is just a .590 Free throw shooter (e.g., .489 Dwight Howard/.430 Deandre Jordan) who has yet to prove that he is developing his offensive game like Howard during his final year with the Magic.
