I believe even if Bender is drafted with the third pick.....long as the Celtics find a way to get Maker , everything will be ok .

Basically .....my little tie bit of knowledge of Maker goes like this.   A family that helped raise him in the US is from my home town.  When I'd go home talking to local sports junkies about local ball , he was getting rav reviews from the local coaches , explayers ,etc.

The word on the street there he has the mindset and drive to make it .   I guess the Marcus Smart fight and attitude to win is there .....that special DNA to win

God, I hope they trade it.  I don't trust us in this spot. Danny is gonna let someone really good get by him.  And we' re going to be talking about it for years.

Yeah this is my fear. If we draft Bender, I would leave if I were Brad Stevens. Please pick Buddy Heild at #3 Ainge he's a no miss type player. You gotta see this. Bender gets drafted, Celtics officially fall off the planet as a basketball team. I will be so dissapointed

How can a 48 win team "fall off the planet" just by simply adding Bender?

Exactly. Adding Bender to Boston wouldn't deteriorate the quality of play next season. There is still free agency and I'm sure the Celtics will have a different roster that will strengthen their weaknesses.

Players with that type of drive and hunger are rare, which is why I am willing to gamble on Bender, he has that too. Getting Bender and Maker to add to Smart would be awesome long term.

Brown or Dunn, please.
I want a guy who can play at both ends of the floor.

That rules out Brown.

Or draft a Euroscrub.

I don't trust Ainge in the draft. Not at all.

Which Euroscrub? We know who you don't like....who do you like?

Brown is arguably the worse shooter in the draft and Dunn isn't that good either. For a team that is in dire need of shooters how would they help us?
