With what we know, can we assume Simmons and agent hangs up phone when 76ers call him to come in for a workout?


The only team I see Simmons working out for is for the lakers.
Doesn't mean anything anyway.  It's not like the kobe situation; he was drafted after #10.  In this case, if simmons is viewed as a franchise player, the sixers will not pass him up regardless.

Yes ,but you really want to bring in a player that does not want to play for you?
You really want to pass up on a franchise player?  Now, perhaps he isn't viewed that way.  But if he is, yes, you draft him, pay him, and he'll be happy.

It hasn't stopped the 76ers before.



Plus there's nothing that directly says Simmons doesn't want to play in Philly. There's only reports that say Simmons wants to play in LA. Just because Simmons prefers the Lakers doesn't mean he'll refuse to play for the 76ers.
