With all prospects, but especially top picks, I like to be able to envision how that player will succeed in the league.

It's really hard to do that with Brown, unless I assume a major improvement in his jumper or his playmaking abilities.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Actually I would love if we traded for Butler.  I feel he would upgrade our shooting guard position and give the Celtics a star and possibly a lure for Durant to come play in Boston.

1. IT
2. Butler
3. Durant
4. Sullinger
5. Horford

6th man Crowder (excuse my typo)

Bench KO, Bradley, Smart, Zeller

That's a pretty good and deep lineup.

“I think you always have a bond when you go to the same school and go to war with a guy like Jae under Buzz [Williams],” Butler told the NBPA. “He went to Juco just like I went to the Juco, so that just shows even more how much we have in common—overlooked in the draft, made our mark in this league and we’re here to stay. More than a basketball player, he’s an incredible human being, a great father and somebody that these kids can look up to because he’s the definition of what hard work and dedication can get you in this life.”

I guess it has to be Simmons, but man it's going to be irritating watching yet another promising young players who can't shoot.

That would take some salary cap magic.

Butler is making 16.4, AL Horford and KD will each get 25.

putting us a ripe 16.4 mil over the cap. that means AB is gone. You probably need Jae to be gone too but you might be able to make it work with just booting Marcus, then you are probably gonna have to move some of those picks, renounce Turner, cut Amir and Jerebko, and then get Al to sign a team-friendly deal. Even then I dont think youd be able to fit Sullys cap-hit.

Ok good point.  I'm not sure how much Sullinger is going to cost.  But I'd certainly trade him for a draft pick or prospect if that allowed us to field IT-Butler-Durant-Horford.

Actually, Sullinger might be required as a piece to acquire Butler, so maybe that solves the cap crunch for us.
