Horford would be a solid addition.  Him and Isaiah would give us a couple guys.  We'd still need that 3rd piece though.  The nets pick should really be kept for that.  I'm not totally sold on Horford either but he wouldn't hurt. He's 29 and been one of the upper echelon centers his entire career.

If someone in the media knew about a virtually done deal, we would know about it too.  No reason for them to hold it back, unless they didn't have good enough sources (in which case they would have no reason to believe there was a done deal).

This was the team media though, so their source is the team.

Still, I don't think the team would tell the "team media" if they didn't want everyone to know.

That's probably true.   We have assets teams have to offer us something or we will just keep drafting. It would be nice to make a trade though.  We have too many picks but they have value regardless.

Sherrod likes to go for these big names but we are probably going to need someone.  It could be a smoke screen.  Who knows. I think Sherrod just gets giddy over certain players and the celtics don't mind.

Looking more and more like Horford is gone by Thursday. Hopefully Danny keeps in the loop and nabs him at a reasonable price.
