i have seen isaiah targeted several times this season rarely has it been overly successful
shooting over the top-yes
but isaiah's strength, quickness, vertical  and his leverage being so low to ground throws off players
there is something  irritating having a threat to ones knees that is wildly disruptive
isaiah elevates very quickly and can move laterally
so during the regular season isaiah is less likely to be targeted with bostons help defense

The only reason Pressey is no longer on the team other than that rosters can't have more than 15 players is he couldn't hit his jump shots. It wasn't because he is shorter than usual for smaller players.

That problem doesn't exist with Isaiah. The only problem I have with Isaiah is sometimes, more often than I like, he charges into the paint and loses the ball. But then again, Isaiah Thomas is not a vet who's been around forever like Amir Johnson. Same as Kelly. These are developing, complex stories and not yes or no absolute questions.

IT is much stronger than most people think.

And yes, he explodes really high and really quickly.

On offense, he shares the same ability as Paul Pierce when it comes to knowing how to change speeds.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale
