Yep.  Usually "cerebral player" is a good thing to say, but in Kelly's case he's much better when he appears to be simply acting on instinct, at least offensively.

I think it has more to do with overthinking. He tries to always make the "right play" and not always the best play. You do what you're suppose to do but the other team is looking to take that away and/or your teammate is doing something wrong, a lot of the time you need to go with another read (his shot) and I think that's where KO gets stuck.
