George Karl isn't terrible. Good things starting to happen in Sacramento.

Yep.  I don't think the Kings can play a lick of defense, but they're finally figuring out how to make those pieces fit together to score a lot of points and, most important of all, make Rondo and Cousins happy (aka filling the box score).

Karl deserves credit (so does Rondo for buying in and getting past the funk he was in the past couple years).

I'm going to disagree.  I think that Karl has become lazy, and he has deprioritized defense to the extreme.  Plus, he attempted to undercut management by negotiating trades without his GM's consent, and he allegedly attempted to lead a mutiny in the locker room, pitting players against one another.

Turning Cousins into a perimeter player wasn't his best call, either.  The recent good play coincides with Cousins going inside more, something that Karl, for whatever reason, didn't want previously.

Rondo was smart to sign with SAC, not that he had many options. He's in the perfect place for his game: Uptempo system, super elite scorer in the middle surrounded by two elite shooters (Bellinelli and Casspi), and literally zero defensive responsibility whatever.

Carlisle is ridiculous and what he's done in Dallas this year is just silly. Outside of old man Nowitzki, I honestly feel like we have a more talented roster but Dallas is just constantly finding answers and ways to win. I mean, they have Deron? Pachulia? A recovering Chandler Parsons? Felton? Who the heck wins with these guys???
