George Karl isn't terrible. Good things starting to happen in Sacramento.
Yep. I don't think the Kings can play a lick of defense, but they're finally figuring out how to make those pieces fit together to score a lot of points and, most important of all, make Rondo and Cousins happy (aka filling the box score).
Karl deserves credit (so does Rondo for buying in and getting past the funk he was in the past couple years).
I'm going to disagree. I think that Karl has become lazy, and he has deprioritized defense to the extreme. Plus, he attempted to undercut management by negotiating trades without his GM's consent, and he allegedly attempted to lead a mutiny in the locker room, pitting players against one another.
Turning Cousins into a perimeter player wasn't his best call, either. The recent good play coincides with Cousins going inside more, something that Karl, for whatever reason, didn't want previously.
