Lebron is a ballhog.  I'm still interested in Kevin Love although might be better options in the draft.  I also like marc gasol and other max type players just as much but having Love here would be pretty fantastic imo.

I just don't like this trend in the NBA of players going to the enemy and then having a change of heart.   We are trying to build a culture here and Love would either need to be a part of it or not.

If Love can't make it work here that would be pretty awful.

Tough to say man, his time in Cleveland has really exposed some of his biggest weaknesses, but they're also not using him in a way that would put him in the best position to succeed. Love is a much better offensive player than he's looked in Cleveland, and I think if you put him in Boston he could approach his Minny levels of production.

So I'd want him, for sure. Just wouldn't want to give up the world for him. Certainly not the 2016 Brooklyn pick or possibly even Smart/Crowder/Thomas. I guess I could be convinced of something like:

BOS: Avery Bradley, Jared Sullinger, Jonas Jerebko, better of 2016 DAL/BOS 1sts and the 2016 PHI 2nd (or probably 2018 Memphis 1st of they insisted)

Dump David Lee somewhere far away right after. Certainly leaves a bit of a hole around the 2 spot losing AB, But we could start Thomas/Smart/Crowder which still gives us plus defense, allows Turner the chance to run the 2nd unit by himself, and allows the young wings we have like RJ Hunter (who I like a lot), James Young and Terry Rozier a chance to play. Maybe even Mickey gets a little time with Sully/Lee gone. Lord knows we'll need him and Amir big time on D with Love and Olynyk.

Question is, can the young guys step up enough in place of AB? Not 100% on that one. Still, think about this line-up:

Thomas/Smart/Crowder/Love/Amir

Pretty good balance of offense and defense, and we have Turner and Kelly to run the 2nd unit. Certainly would need the young guys to step up though.

Love would have to be a better post defender than Sully.  I think he could do it if he set hs mind to it.   He's similar to Sully if Sully was more active.  The thing is I still really like Sullinger too.  Bradley is also a good amount to give up.  We could draft though and have young guards. We'd score so much with Isaiah, Love and Olynyk though it would be about putting pieces around those guys.  Smart would be a keeper and so would our young guards. We'd really have to surround them with defensive players and players who can slash to the basket.  Sully and Bradley are a good amount to give up.  It doesn't really pop or all fit in my head how it stands.  But it's not bad. Getting a guy like Kevin Love is pretty rare.
