Acquire Gallo from the nuggets for lee, sully (or zeller) and a second rounder or two (and/or Dallas pick if necessary)

Bring Mickey up and give him time.

Plat the following for the duration then look to draft/FA for further improvement.

Smart, IT
Bradley, Turner
Crowder, hunter/young
Gallo, Mickey
AJ, Oly

The starting line up is a nice combo of d and shooting
Reserves stretch the floor and Mickey augments the D

Put yourself in Danny's shoes. What do you do? Come up with plausible trade ideas and a plan to fix this squad.

If I were Ainge I would be talking to OCK, Kings and Knicks to see if there is any chance at all for KD, DMC or Melo. I'd try to get a good deal but I'd trade up to all of the picks if need be. Then depending on who we got and what was left over I'd go for another star/good player. If no one would trade anything I'd roll with what we got. My play A would be get DMC and Melo and trade whatever I had to to get them both.

Trade whomever and whatever is available including picks with the exception of hunter, it, Mickey, Amir.  Get on the phone with the sixers, Kings, bucks, Orlando to see what they'll give up.  Our picks are worthless because all we are adding is questionable talent to a roster of mediocrity which will keep us right where we are.  No one in this years draft is gonna immediately help.  Get some 20-30 year old talent that has proven themselves in the league

can we include a magic wand in our answers?  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

1. Trade Sully, Zeller, Jerebko, The Dallas pick, and two second-rounders for Muhammed, Dieng, and Martin.  Note: This trade works on the trade machine.

2. Buy-out/release David Lee and call up Mickey.

Starters

C-  Dieng
PF- Crowder
SF - Muhammed
SG- Bradley
PG - Isaiah

Bench

C - Olynyk
PF - Mickey/Amir
SF - Turner
SG - Martin
PG - Smart

Out of rotation

SF - Young
SG - Hunter
PG - Rozier

I know that some of you may not be crazy about my small-ball starting lineup, and I'm not really either, but you could move Crowder to the bench and start Mickey or Amir in his place.  For me, this trade was mainly about Muhammed, who I believe is an efficient 20pt-scorer in waiting.  Adding Dieng is big too, as he's a defensive presence who can also step out and make a 15-18 footer.

I think Noel would be a bit more expensive than that. Also that starting lineup would be a bit of a disaster as I think Kelly struggles at the 4 and i dont think Crowder can play the 2.

Celtics sure need something ....

It's looking like anymore they are underdogs to win against anybody.

Something is making them nearly unwatchable

This is never the case for me, love watching them play good and bad.   But like everyone I prefer when we are good or moving in that direction.

I do not think others value our assets as much as Ainge hoped.   Quantity rarely trumps quality, until people know which picks are which and where they land, they are not as valuable.

Could possibly be...I've had some argue that it's too much to give up for Noel.  To each their own.

Great thing about the roster is a lot of players can play multiple.  If Kelly struggles at the 4 you have Mickey or put Johnson there.  If Crowder can't play the 2 you have Smart, Hunter, & Turner, all are possible.  You also have both Brooklyn's and your own 1st round picks at your disposal to add one heckuva 2-man.

Tell me how this helps Minn. I don't see it. Sully can bolt. Dieng is their D. Dallas pick is going to be like 22nd or worse.

Ya I think the team works well it just doesn't fit well into a starting 5.

As for Noel. It may be an overpay, but the point is that philly won't take it I don't think.
