After re-watching the Warriors game, I believe that Brad Stevens & Danny Ainge are bringing along slowly/grooming Kelly Olynyk to become our starting power foward by the end of the season because at critical points of the game, our offense was run through him when it stalled -- not Jared Sullinger. I believe that they will let Jared Sullinger walk if they cannot package him in a trade (unless he slims down to "Utah" Carlos Boozers' frame) because they don't want to pay him to be our "Tristan Thompson" & because history has shown us that NBA teams will take a flier on/hold on longer to taller players that they can get longer production from at a cheaper rate & can space the floor/run third-fourth option offense through/hit open shots at a decent enough clip to enable their offenses to be more versatile to an extent, e.g., Channing Frye, Rasheed Wallace, Ryan Anderson, Boris Diaw, Andrea Bargani. I believe that the hope within the organization is that they can somehow package a deal (without involving Thomas/Bradley/Crowder/Turner) in order to acquire a transformative playmaking center/big (e.g., Drummond, Marc Gasol, Noah, Horford, Howard, Whiteside, Noel, Ibaka, big from '16 Draft Class) who can cover up for Kelly Olynyks' deficiencies on defense (that is if Kelly Olynyk continues to sustain his level of play & improve on it bit by bit) & run this Celtics teams' offense as an improved version of Dwight Howards' Magic team that made it to the finals i.e. Courtney Lee/Avery Bradley, Rashard Lewis/Jae Crowder or R.J. Hunter, Hedo Türkoğlu/Evan Turner, Jameer Nelson/Isiah Thomas, Ryan Anderson/Kelly Olynyk, Dwight Howard & Marcin Gortat/Celtics Center. What are your thoughts?
