PS.

Not to knock the Warriors they've gotten 2 wins against Sac, NO, an Brooklyn. 3 of the worst teams in the league. 1 against Denver and the Lakers.

Plus they haven't played one game against OKC, SAS, or Lebron and co. They're still the number one team but let's not get carried away with the record so far.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Are you guys nuts? We took the best team in the league by far to double overtime.  We played hard the entire game.  We are just not quite there. But it was great effort.  I love our opportunistic defense.
Yeah seriously... Brooklyn only managed to take them to a single overtime.  Tonight was more impressive.

For real, though.  Great game.  Lots of fun.   I hope the Warriors stay undefeated until Christmas so they can try to tie the record against LeBron.
You have to take a sarcastic shot at the Celtics on every so called positive post?  There was also the post you made about how Bradley played incredibly... except for the fact that he totally disappeared on offense after his hot start, and he somehow managed to hold Curry to ONLY 38, 11, and 8.
moiso you are not alone in this feeling. The routine has become really annoying and boring

Just fight him with facts. He seldom gets them right.

A guy like Curry gets a defensive challenge every night he steps on the court, but this one was a little beyond the normal run of the mill attempt to stifle him. With Bradley sharing his blue Warriors road jersey, he airballed his first shot and made just 2-of-8 shots in the opening quarter.

His 33 percent night from the floor was his worst marksmanship since a 5-for-23 in the Game 2 Finals loss in Cleveland last June.

Curry had an idea this was coming — and it’s fair to say he exhaled when Bradley acquired his sixth foul with 3:41 left in the first overtime.

“He’s been tough the last three years we’ve played against him,” Curry said. “You know he loves a challenge, and I do, too.”

He paused for a moment and added, “I know he doesn’t like it, but I was happy he got that sixth foul.”

Said coach Luke Walton, filling in for Steve Kerr, “Avery and (Evan) Turner, they were as good as we’ve seen as far as just hawking him all over the court. They never gave in, they fought through fatigue, and Steph didn’t get many easy open looks tonight.”

Tough loss but this team has a BRIGHT future.

I'm talking super nova bright.

We're going to win many games this year.

That Offensive Foul call on IT--in the first half--when he went into Bogut (whose foot was in the circle)---Cost us at least 2 points--should have been a No-Call Basket---or a foul on Bogut.

If we didn't miss like 5 of our first 6 free throws also...oh well.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

HEY Brad Stevens----Call a FREAKING Timeout ----Stevens BLEW it TWICE---we had the ball -with a chance to win in Regulation AND in OT---and this MORON lets the clock wind down to NOTHING---and we get Awful shots BOTH times---When we SHOULD have won this game...He let the team down with this Garbage---He did another time on this past road trip too--!!!

Brad Stevens is one of the best at making a good play happen after a time out and just maybe he thought the guys had the momentum and didn't want to break it. but for whatever reason he did what he did I would take his strategy over yours every time!!!

I had no problem not calling a timeout either time. I feel like that's a veteran move. Trust your guys.

I woke up this morning thinking they should have run some kind of double screen with Sully and KO/Crowder for IT to get open. He's not Paul Pierce so going 1v1 is much harder to get the shot up over someone.
I have a problem with it. Stevens said he tried to call in some kind of action off of a pick but that it was too loud for the players to hear him. Seems odd that he wouldn't just call a timeout to get the right play.

Yep, I'm still fuming about those missed opportunities. He did the same thing another time this year that didn't work either, though I can't remember the game. When you don't have a closing type and the closest guy you have to that is four freaking feet tall, you need to call a timeout and set up a play in that situation. IT already had his worst nightmare in the taller, lankier Livingston on him. I would've much rather seen Turner iso for a mid-range jumpshot over Iggy. At least he's not going to get freaking blocked.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Curry seemed to struggle most when he tried getting stuff done inside the arc.  He was still wet from three (6-13).   Our defense is truly impressive, though.  We gave them a great fight.  If we had a go-to scorer we probably could have won.

I said in the game thread that I really like this team.  They have lots of heart, great chemistry and on an individual level I like pretty much every guy on the team.    I know we can't get over the hump until we land a superstar, but part of me gets a little bummed out thinking that we'll need to break up this team in order to land one.   Like, does getting a star SF mean moving Crowder to the bench?  I like Crowder.

I wouldn't mind getting a center, tbh. Then we could move Amir to the bench. I know some people hate the idea but what if we had Dwight? Price tag shouldn't be too high and he'd provide a big boost on both ends of the floor. Bogut didn't play the most minutes but he had an impact whenever he was on the floor. Even when he wasn't getting blocks, he was altering shots.

It proved the same as last Playoff season vs Cavs. Stuck in Purgatory!

Celtics need a legit Center, Power Forward and Point guard. All 3 with emphasis on D. YES, they need a go to scorer or at least a Shooter to end games.

Time for Ainge to smell the Coffee and make some moves.

Sullinger Turner AJohnson exposed! Deal em outa here!
