  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
Since OKC potentially is in rebuilding mode and the chances that Westbrook will leave are strong
What they are the Third Best in The West. They are all in. Westbrook and Durant know they need each other. The only way we get Westbrook is if Durant leaves but with cap rising he is not leaving.
"People look at players, watch them dribble between their legs and they say, 'There's a superstar.'  Well John Havlicek is a superstar, and most of the others are figments of writers' imagination."
--Jerry West, on John Havlicek

lol

OKC has zero incentive to move Westbrook. OKC hangs up the phone for any offer that doesn't include a different superstar coming back.

Where is this "OKC rebuilding" stuff coming from? They're 3rd in the West and their entire roster is in its prime.

Yeah, I don't know where this is coming from. I think it was meant to mean if Durant leaves this summer, which seems to be the only logical explanation for why they'd trade Westbrook right now.
Even if Durant were to leave, OKC should just try to rebuild around Westbrook and Ibaka.  Now if Westbrook indicates that he isn't going to re-sign with them that would force them to trade him.  However it would still take a lot more than Sullinger and Smart to get him.

If trades like this were possible we could have the first team all NBA by the deadline.

Sully and Smart are not anywhere near enough to trade for one of the top 5-10 players in the NBA.  C's would do it in a heartbeat.

can there be a limit of how many philly threads we do? I get when there is a move like firing hinkie it is interesting, but at the end of the day they are a 1-21 team that is a few years away from being in contention. (And I realized I am keeping this on front page by commenting, but just was curious how obsessed we as a fan base look with a team that is not relevant at the moment).

It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Looks like you're the one with Philly on the brain unless there is some covert link between OKC and Philly that I don't know about.
