No Philly would not do it. You're not even giving them a 1st rounder. Just a pick swap. The value of Young and Zeller are next to nil. If you want Noel, you're going to have to fork over at least the Nets pick.
I agree.... but if I'm Phili and I really want the number one.... Its gives them three chances to land the number one pick. I wish they would bite on it... But then again LA might want to offer them theirs as a swap... And build around their new big three. Was just a thought.
Our picks the next few years are projected as mid rounders. Why would Philly do that? And sorry no, it doesnt give them three chances to land the number one pick.
He's including the picks we have from the Nets.
Nah, still doesnt make sense. How would the they have 3 chances if were just giving them right to swap for our pick/nets pick? our pick is projected to be out of the lottery this year.
They would have 3 chances this year because Philly would have their own pick plus the right to swap with Sacramento and the right to swap picks with Brooklyn (through us). So if Brooklyn, Philly or Sacramento won the lottery Philly would get the top pick.
at it would be a gross overpayment for Noel if we coughed up the #1 pick for him.
if trading Young and Zeller, offer the worse of the C's/Dallas picks this year and be done with it. I see both in the lottery.
Noel is an offensively challenged Center that does not help us in that regard. sure, would help our D but his rebounding isn't more than adequate for his size. While Young and Zeller aren't high in value right now, Zeller is a serviceable center and Young still has the potential to be a rotation guard (maybe better). A first in the 8-12 range would be more than fair compensation to make up the difference in value.
