So after one loss everyone is losing it?

I think it's because for the first time since, well, April, basically, that a lot of people are getting reminded that this team, though scrappy and fun, isn't actually very good.

It's a deep, hard-working, well-coached team of mostly likable guys, but they're still gonna look hopelessly outgunned sometimes against opponents with multiple All-Star caliber talents.

We overachieved last year.  We could overachieve again this year.  But the "Boston has every team's 7th best player" is pretty accurate.   We should win a bit more than we lose this year, because of Stevens. Without Stevens, I'd be comfortable projecting 30 wins for this team.  Brad is the basketball MacGyver

Isaiah Thomas is currently averaging 26 points 7 assists. Just saying if that were to hold up, sounds like star numbers to me

IT is a farce as well. a star is able to get his own shot. IT struggled to be able to do that in the playoffs last yr. and from what I've seen it seems the reg. season too.

Blowing past three dudes for an easy lay-up isn't creating your own shot?

Averaging 25 points a game isn't a farce no matter what you wanna say, that dude is an absolute dynamo scorer.

with the help from picks? big deal. that's not creating your own shot.

You didn´t even watch the game did you? Thomas made the defenders look silly many times with that hesitation move. Just like last game and just like last season.

Thomas is a nice player on a Championship contender.  In Boston he gets exposed on the D end and the O end because of his height when playing to many minutes..

Bottom line guys, Ainge needed to find a legit Defensive C and he didnt.. Front court will not withstand the power of better teams..

Spurs will show you that weakness tomorrow. .

Last season after we beat Brooklyn, people were excited about the team. After we got blown out by a far superior team - Houston, everyone moped again. This happens every year. The first 10 games are mixture of delusion and defeatism.

I saw a man who was major help in leading the Celtics to the playoffs.

  • Celtic's only raise championship Banners
It really does not matter how they start the season, my stance will be the same, this team needs to tank. Danny thought it would last year after we traded RR and Green but he underestimated CBS, and we know that because he did not waive Bass and Jonas after the trade deadline.

I would be singing a different tune if we had a Paul Pierce on the team. But I am not going to be intimidated through a forum to change my view of this team.
