What are you talking about? Jerebko can't be traded for at least a few months. Turner can be traded anytime.
And some of you guys are crazy. I would bet my last dollar that Young isn't going anywhere unless it's in a trade for something pretty decent or a package for something great. Why would anyone think that? Because he didn't do much his rookie year on a team with like 10 legit rotation players. If he was drafted by Philly, you'd all be trying to dream up trades for him.
He has all the tools needed to be a very good scoring wing in this league. His biggest questions have always been motor, drive and defensive skills. By all accounts he's really turned the corner on his work ethic and desire to get better, and he showed an oft-overlooked improvement on D in SL. There's literally no way Ainge just dumps him to keep Evan friggen Turner or PJ3.
This. The Celtics didn't just resign Jerebko in the offseason to dump him before camp and since he can't be traded for a couple of months, his spot on the roster on opening night is about as solid as anyone's.
With Young, the Celtics made an investment in him a year ago that was always suppose to be long term. Might he be traded in a package for a blue-chipper? Yeah. But I think it's way mor likely that he stays on and this is the year Brad tries to really integrate him into the system in some way.
