PJ3 has accomplished absolutely nothing in this league.

More than young though. and has a higher upside

lol I will never understand why everyone on this board wants Turner gone so bad. He's a solid NBA player and has good upside for the cost. Not to mention he was huge for our team last year
I think fans don't see him as part of the team's future and thus expendable. Turner was huge for us last season but mostly because Smart wasn't ready to handle the ball as a full time PG yet. If he develops as we all hope he does, Turner's ballhandling will become less important and he kind of becomes expendable, if he's holding a roster spot that someone like Young or Hunter could use to gain experience.

Yeah just like the kid who splashed his feet along the shore at the beach has had more experience swimming than the kid who stayed on the sand.

Not by much.

I totally disagree. Young was a 5 star McDs All American and went to the championship game his freshmen year and then dominated the D League his first year in the NBA.

PJ3 has just spent lots and lots of time on the bench. He hasn't developed at all.  Young is like 20 years old.

PJ3 is a season away from being a total bust.

Yes but PJIII has had multiple 20 point games in a season. Young hasn't come close

PJIII is more than 3 years older and has been in the league two more years and has litttle to show for it.  Hold onto Young... easily.

I mean, Jones was also a 5-star high school recruit.  Consensus top 10 -- pretty much the same as Young.  Neither player has shown all that much in the NBA -- they were both very talented.

I'm rooting for Young, because he's cost controlled for three years instead of one, but if Jones wins the job, then that's fine too.  I'm basically pleased that he end of the roster has a lot of talent, and that the 15th (and maybe 14th) roster spots will be earned instead of granted.  Gone are the days of practice bodies and locker room presences.  If you're not good enough to want on the court, you can find a different team.

And by multiple, you mean 2? In three seasons? (Pondering...) What do you think Marv?
