  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
I think Rozier will play Pressey's minutes this year and eventually win the starting job next to Marcus Smart. Eventually they will have two guys who can both get to the hoop off the dribble, shoot 3's and play strong defense.

Bradley will keep his job for at least one more year.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Rozier has a long way to go. First of all, they have to solve his turnover issue.
He has a bad habit to watch too much his teammates and got the ball stolen from his opponent.
It's not a big concern (Pressey was much worse with turnovers when he arrived) but it will take time before he gets to start.

I see some people mention, our backcourt is pretty much solved by ROzier and Smart for the future

Bradley and IT as backups

this just occured to me...what if Rozier starts playing well and Danny gives Bradley the Rondo treatment, and ships AB out so Rozier starts over him?

All i can say is

Smart and Rozier > Smart and AB

Rozier ball handling ability is a plus. He already plays excellent defense. Lots of pressure, steals. Nice rebounds. Ab is a bad rebounder

Then i like Hunter and IT off the bench

It's kind of interesting because I don't think Rozier and Thomas are really a good pairing in the baccourt. They'd be overmatched by larger opponents too often. Thomas and Hunter would probably work better. But I think Rozier is good and will learn fast. So I'm really hoping that he and Smart are starting together by mid-year. That would really be great progress.

I can buy that.  Would be weird if we can entice a team like OKC to ship us durant in a deal for Bradley if they decide to build with Westbrook.   Bradley would actually go well with him.

I meant as part of a deal.  Bradley wouldn't be the only one.  You need to pass.  just hypothesizing anyways.

I'm happy with our team as is anyways.  Moves are going to be made is all.  Might as well think big.  It's no big deal.

Maybe pressey can stick somehow but I don't know.  He is a career 3rd stringer here.  A good one.  But 3rd/4th string.

Yeah, maybe Adam Silver will give the C's a special allowance to carry 16 players this season. The League will refer to ever after as the Phil Pressey Exception.
