Since we own the Nets 2016 1st round pick, if they were in the lottery, would we be sending a representative to the lottery, or would they? Sounds like a silly question.. but I'm just curious!

All teams should have a rep there regardless so doesn't matter.

I'm talking about how the lottery teams have a representative there who often brings a good luck charm etc. Will it be our rep or theirs? Does anyone know?

I'm pretty sure we would be the team sending the rep, it would just be mean to send a Nets rep to possibly "win" the first pick
I'm bitter.

Did the Cavs send one rep for both picks in 2011, or did they send one and LAC send one?
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

I don't know what the official rules are but since the pick has no protection, it's ours no matter where it ends up.  There would be no reason for the Nets to send someone.

I don't think there are actually any rules, but I would think that the person that owns the pick "gets" to go.
