  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.

What would the story be if he was at Fenway?

He was last year, remember?  And the story was similar to what you're trying to make it right now.  So many people jumped on the Love to Boston bandwagon just like New Yorkers will now jump on the Love to the Knicks bandwagon.  The situation was a little different because last year when he was in Boston he was still a member of the TWolves and couldn't freely sign here.  This year he can do what he wants.

Personally, I take it with a grain of salt.  I think he's looking forward to being courted by teams and is taking full advantage of it, and then I also think he just likes baseball too.  He'd be an interesting fit though there.  Not sure how many times they'd be able to hold an opponent under 100, but offensively, they could be fun to watch.

I think that's the point of the thread?  Wwwwwooooooossssshhhhhhh

I am not trying to make any story , with all the speculation about the recent visit of Aldridge to Boston and IT4 playful tweets about recruiting players and his visit to Spain etc , A potential free agent target is out and about , exciting times for fans to speculate about where they might end up you would think?

Love and Melo seem like a poor fit.  Better surround them with some truly stupendous defensive role players.

Ha ha ....wow ..that team would suck the big one ......Knick with Love and Melo .......too funny . Talk about offense at a standstill pace.

K  Love was raised on the T Wolves as THE MAN ......call it spoiled ..what ever.....

For KLove to thrive ...I think he needs to be the Number 1 option on the floor .   And surrounded by good defensive guards and play beside a younger fast rim protector .

I don't have any concerns about his fit in NYC with Melo.  He is a good player.  Pau Gasol was a purportedly "soft" but skilled player.  He did fine on the Lakers next to Kobe.  Love would do fine on the Knicks next to Melo.  If the coach is any good, he would figure it out.  There would need to be some adjustments or considerations but I don't see it as that hard based on the talent of the two players.

I think  Love's motivations for making sure he is seen are in order, Love likes to see his name/picture being tweeted and talked about (ego), he wants to send a message to Cle that he intends to keep his options open, and he likes to go to baseball games at famous stadiums.

That would be a fun "hit reset button and start over again" look for the Knicks.

i doubt love chooses knicks

as love wants to win
he saw even without him that lebron can take a team to the finals
love will prefer to join the best player in the world and a proven champion
over taking a gamble with NY - with melo's injury and being at the low point of a rebuild

one that you could routinely torch at the guards and PF on offense too.

Very similar to the Melo, Amare, Chandler trio except Love can be on the perimeter more. They like those injury prone PF's.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.
