Last year Kelly had a streak of 20+ straight free throws.  I thought that would be a real strength for him going forward but most of this year has been terrible for him from the line.  Quietly though, he has gotten his stroke back.  He is 21 of his last 24 since a disastrous 3 of 8 game.  His stroke is now simple and short.  The last 8 or so he has shoot haven't even touched the rim.

Meanwhile, his outside shot is also looking better.  He now has a much shorter stroke, it's all elbow and wrist, and it seems like he isn't starting it out in front of him as far.  He might be a secret weapon for us against the Cavs if he can pull Love or Mosgov away from the basket giving IT and Turner a chance to drive.  We are going to need our bigs going 6-10 or better from three point land to hang with the Cavs.

All the negativity around Olynyk this year somehow kept missing this, which was odd since it was the thing that annoyed me the most about him.  Shooters should have good FT%s, and he did last year.  Glad he seems to have gotten back on the right track.  We need Kelly to play efficiently, along with about 6 other guys, to have any shot at the Cavs.

Just like last year, when his ankle was bad, his lift, arch and shooting were off. When healthy, he's a great shooter. Probably about .375 from the 3, which is unheard of for a C/PF.
