Maybe Stevens has something to do with it?

I haven't seen him play yet, but can he please get rid of his Noah/lunch lady style bun?  Please?  I'm not asking too much, here, am I?

No.

Why?

I've got to ask, with Datome and a lot of other guys playing well for us this year that fall into the category "Who would have thought?" Is it all Danny's eye for misused talent or dumb luck or both?

Well, Danny was known to have scouted each of these guys out thoroughly before they came to the NBA.  So he knew pretty much exactly who they were when he made this trade.

I remember when Gigi was first rumored to be coming to the Celtics a couple of years ago.  I watched a ton of video on him then as he dominated in Italy.

He was mobile, long, could shoot from anywhere and could score points in lots of creative ways.  Very crafty.  I'm not comparing him to Pierce in talent, but crafty in the same way.  You know, just always making the smart play, being in the right spot, getting opponents to make mistakes.

He looked a lot like that same player in these last two games.  I think he's for real.

He's only 27.   With very little wear and tear on him from sitting on Detroit's bench the last year and a half.  He could potentially have a long NBA career still ahead of him.
NBA Officiating - Corrupt?  Incompetent?  Which is worse?  Does it matter?  It sucks.

That would seem to be a stretch.   What you saw was how Datome always played before getting stuck on Detroit's dysfunctional roster.  I like Brad, but I doubt he molded his game much in the last couple of weeks.

Steven's key contribution was to simply give the guy a chance to play real minutes (not mop-up duty).

Hopefully he'll continue to make use of Gigi.   He and Isaiah could form a potent 1-2 scoring punch to offset the recent tendency of teams to swarm and double on IT, daring anyone else to score.

Yep, I watched all the videos of him and a few other guys DA was rumored to be interested in at that time. There is always so little video of these players. I watched all the Giannis videos too. It's funny that he never picks those guys and I end up liking them. This season, I'm going to look at videos of guys people don't talk much about or at least the guys people don't mention as a DA guy. He did pick Smart after watching him, I remember him kind of getting excited in the stands when Smart did well in those workouts  ;D, but he usually doesn't pick the guy he openly talks about beforehand.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)
