after the 2015 draft a team will have to surrender a sf... harris gordon harkless are too many for one position... i think gordon will be a the same type of player with smart... great defensive guy explosive... you can teach him shooting.. would be a great pick

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
I think they are going to have Harkless leave and that will solve their problem.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

If he can add a jump-shot, A.Gordon will be a better version of Draymond Green as an undersized quick power forward.

Interesting thought. Especially if the Magic draft Johnson or Hezonja.

This year Gordon has played the majority of his minutes at SF:

He has performed better as a 4 but the sample is very small.

I'd be willing to talk business involving picks or players. Aaron is just spectacular on D. They have no shooting on their roster so Young + pick for Gordon?

I loved Gordon in the draft, but I am happy now that we ended up with Smart.

I'd definitely be interested, especially with Sully being the question mark he is, but I think it'd take a little more than I'm willing to pay at this point. I would probably go with a pick like our '16 or any lower ones/combination of lower ones and/or Sully.

The ability to switch would be crazy. And the shooting... subpar.

He has been hurt all year, I doubt they move him though.

He has played a totol of 395 minutes, not like he has played a lot.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
Harkless seems like the one that would most likely be the odd man out.

I preferred Smart at the time of the draft and now I would rather have Gordon.  I like Who's better version of Draymond Green comparison.  Sounds about right to me.
I thought Smart was more explosive.  Hopefully the ankle has a little bit to do with his lack of explosion.

Maybe I didn't read that correctly. Did you suggest Smart is more explosive than Gordon?

Gordon's entire game revolves around his freak athletic ability. They literally had to move the bar up when he did the vertical test - 39" on a big man like that is unheard of. To compare, Blake Griffin was only like 36". The dude can jump out of the gym and run the floor with the best of 'em.

I wanted Gordon before the draft. I'd rather have Gordon now. I love Smart's hard nose, do-everything game. He's an easy guy to root for. There's not a game I watched where he didn't bring a smile to my face by doing something that disrupted the hell out of the opposing team. I'd like to see him in Green for the next 10 years. But I simply think Gordon has better upside on the offensive end and plays his own brand of outstanding defense with his 7 foot wingspan. He's also the bigger guy and when everything is equal I think you go with the bigger man.

Of course, he could turn out to be an injury bust or just an average player. Smart may turn out to be an All-Star. So I could easily be wrong and that's just my opinion.
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

I assume he meant that Smart was more explosive than he actually is.

Either way, I preferred Gordon then and now, I think I might prefer many many other guys over Smart.  Frankly, the only caveat to Smart being a complete bust to me is his ankle.  If that isn't the issue, then smart will not get it done because there are far too many holes in his game to have to make up for.

Like Gordon but so do the Magic. Harkless is probably gone next year.

I thought Smart was more explosive than he has shown in the NBA.  Gordon is by far the more explosive of the two.  Poor wording.  Sorry.

Faired. Pass
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.
