this team does not need good role players
we have an entire team of them
we need building blocks and stars

ditto. we don't need more faverinis, crowders, thorntons, wallaces, iversons, etc.
Celtics fan for life.

Were not asking Kane to save the season, or the franchise for that matter. We're taking a flier, if it doesnt work, we risked very little. If it does, then good.

Its not like we're signing him long term on a big contract...

If Kane had Rondo's minutes, the Celtics record would probably be as good or better - without the big contract.

I don't have much interest in him as a prospect. Though the C's should be kicking the tires on players like him.
