With Marc Gasol = 50-55 wins

I don't see how this is possible. The grizzlies are projected to win that many with an established group of Conley, ZBO, and Gasol (5 years together) along with useful vets in Carter, Lee, Allen, and Prince. Adding Rondo, Green, AB, Sully, KO, Smart, and Turner to Gasol does not make them the grizzlies.

Roughly speaking,

Marc Gasol = Marc Gasol
Rajon Rondo + Jared Sullinger = Mike Conley + Zach Randolph**

Jeff Green > Tony Allen
Avery Bradley > Courtney Lee
Marcus Smart > Beno Udrih***
Bass, Olynyk > Leuer, Beasley, Earl Clark

Faverani < Koufos
Gerald Wallace, Evan Turner < Tayshaun Prince, Quincy Pondexter
Marcus Thornton < Vince Carter

Talent wise, I do think they are pretty similar.

** I think I am higher on Sully than many others. Sully seems to be a player that has quite different value amongst different fans on C'Blog. I have Sully as top 15 PF in league. I think Zach Randolph is in decline. I have Z-Bo as Top 10 PF. I think the gap between these two players will continue to shrink.
*** I really like Marcus Smart and consider him most NBA ready rookie (alongside Wiggins) in draft.

This team lacks offense more so than defense and since when did anyone not named Durant or Lebron James add 30 wins to your projected win total?

I like Gasol, I just don't understand the 55 wins logic.

Oops, edited last post instead of creating new one. Wiped out initial response -- response to logic as to why I believe Celtics would win 50+ games with Marc Gasol rather than direct comparison to Memphis Grizzlies which is separate issue (a side point).

(1) I consider this Celtics team to be somewhere around a 35-37 win quality team presently
(2) If Boston added a quality starting center -- allowing players like Sully to move back to natural positions & roles and creating proper balance within the team -- I think Boston is a 45 win caliber team. As a top notch defensive team and subpar offensive team.
(3) Adding a top tier center like Marc Gasol or a Dwight Howard, I think pushes Celtics up to 50+ wins. As top notch defensive team and mediocre offensive team.
