I like the pick if he plays SG.  If he plays PG it was a waste of a pick.  Even if we do trade Rondo I still don't want him playing the point.

He's going to be able to lead the offense when Rondo sits and he'll be able to fit in as a 2 or combo anytime. The kid could play LB for the Patriots. He's diesel. He's not going to be shy about driving to the rim.

Rondo, for example, goes to the hole a lot in big games when it counts, but he's too slight and avoids the punishment on a night to night basis. Smart is going to be able to handle that contact and force the action night after night. He's going to be able to impose his will (and strength) on people unlike an other guard we've had in recent memory.

This could be fun.

I don't like this pick.  We already have a very good shooting guard that is getting better in Avery Bradley.
We do? Last time I checked, he wasn't under contract. And as of this time next year, none of our starting guards will be under contract.

Hope he'll get Sully in the weight room and help fix his body........set an example of how professionals stay in shape .

I was just gonna say--that's how to go about the weight room. Sully's off-season workout video (http://www.nba.com/celtics/video/archive) was just embarrassing.

It's scripted TV.
it doesn't matter he looked like a whale and I love Sully hope he proves me wrong coming into training camp...
