C's like Marcus Smart a lot

All part of the DA smoke screen. I wouldn't have any issue with a 3 guard rotation of Rondo, Smart and AB though I think if smart plays well this leads to Rondo being traded.

I like Smart a lot too. He's a defensive monster, the type of guy who not only locks down his own man but disrupts an entire offense with his anticipation in the passing lanes. He was guarded mostly by wings in college, but nonetheless he bulldozed to the rim or posted them up. He will be a real matchup problem in the NBA, especially paired with two big wings. That would force opponents to leave their PG on him, which will lead to easy points in the paint and at the line.

Or Bradley, if Smarts can play well at the two and give Bradley a run for his money, that opens up to trading Bradley and having Rondo/Smart pairing

Honestly, I remember Danny saying there were like 6-8 players he really likes in this range. No superstar franchise building blocks, but some very good players.

Wasn't that Wyc claiming the day after the draft that Danny had previously told him there were six players in this draft that he really liked?

But I'm confused who is being quoted here as having heard that re: Smart?

they can definitely see both exum and smart at shooting guard next to rondo
if wiggins embiid parker or exum fall i obviously want them, but outside of that i think the best route to go would be smart and payne
but back to the forum, whats not to like about marcus smart? the guy is a lock down defender who has already been compared to tony allen in that facet, and the guy was a prolific scorer
that video of him head to head with wiggins really got me excited about this guys potential, and it helps that the guy is a brick house and is the most intense and fiery player in the draft
i like gordon but im really pulling for us to draft marcus
