I think the whole Indiana team is too immature and not talented enough to take the Heat. The Heat have a mental edge and a talent edge as well.

That said, the Heat have an edge when it comes to 50/50 calls with the refs in many cases. I'm not even watching this series, and it's mainly because I don't have hope for Indiana. If they had a little bit more mental toughness and a bit better scoring ability, they'd be a major threat. It's a shame they did all that work for the #1 seed and aren't going to come close to winning this series. I could see a blowout game 5 on their home floor to end the series.

West is running out of gas, Scola is inconsistent. Hibbert has serious issues. Hill and George don't have enough offense. Stephenson and Turner are nice additions, but not good enough to exploit holes in the Heat defense.

I think George is exactly right. We all know the refs try to sway games it's already been documented. My question is always when are the players, coaches, etc gonna finally say something... Because you know they know.

It already happened with the Clippers. You know the league was happy to see them go.

As for the Pacers being outplayed by Miami. Yeah they were but it's a lot easier to play well when you know you are going to get calls and you know you can be physical and won't get called for fouls. That affects how you play.

It just frustrating because we don't need LeBron in the Finals every year. And it doesn't seem to be changing even with Stern out.

The refs are bums and miss tons of calls and call the game differently for the stars and heavily marketed players.   What is not to like there?   A lot.   I thought maybe with instant replay they might fear getting call in a wrong call more but heck they still make a bad call, see they are wrong and let the call stand again and again.

Some of them get personal as well just ask Tim Duncan about Joey Crawford.   That is the epitome of unprofessional and not a person I want doing games.

I disagree with this.  These officials are simply too good to consistently miss 2-3 and sometimes 4 step travels by one specific guy when he does it right in front of their faces.   They're too good to consistently watch wade carry ....Or flop right in front of them.  They're simply too good to always give Pierce the upfake / barreling call when it's obvious he's charging into a defender going straight up.

Watch an NBDL game.  These officials are amazingly good as well....The difference is that there are no messiahs, wades, los nashes, pierces, who have to be allowed their pet moves.  They make occasional mistakes...They're human....But the consistent agenda / star-driven officiating makes a mockery of the game.

It's no coincidence that last night's game was on at the same time the WWE was on...They were using the same officials.
