I really do not want another PF from this draft. I hope they trade down if BPA is a PF.

Gordon is a sf/pf. He can defend sfs better than anybody in this draft.

Anybody else excited at the possibility of drafting Gordon?

Not me. I don't see the attraction. A great defender with a limited offensive game, and this team needs offense.

There were some good conversations about Gordon during the combine broadcast, one in particular about the fact that great athlete does not automatically mean great defender, and it was a little curious how Gordon gained a reputation of being a great defender.  They then proceeded to go down a list of half a dozen college guys who absolutely bullied him in the post.  And they were not guys who will play in the NBA.

Of course he got bullied at times by seniors or centers he had to guard bc Arizona's center was constantly in foul trouble.

I like Gordon...he is probally going to help a team......a good team compete

The Celtics don't need more medium talent ....we got too much of that role player nothings now.

I don t think we should even take a pick ...

Trade it off for future assets some how. ......let Gordon go to Philliy and play with Wiggins.

I want more out of the 6th pick in this, the deepest draft since....."draft, than a glorified role player. Roll out the Rodman comparisons all you want but Aaron Gordon is most likely not Dennis Rodman, Aaron Gordon is most likely not going to easily be able to re-train his muscle memory in how to shoot a basketball after not having been able to be able to do it thus far. For the 6th pick I want more than a defensive specialist with average rebounding ability, above average handles and absolutely no shooting ability whatsoever.

And the Celtics definitely do not need that at a position they are massively deep at, PF!!

...I don't think Danny will keep the #6 if he can help it.  If he does I think I prefer a better all-around player like Saric than what looks like a talented specialist in Gordon.

Nick first KO and now Gordon??

He is going to be good. Even if he cant shoot he will score 12 pts by dunks, tip ins, drive to the basket. 2 or 3 assist. He is a better rebounder than u think. Final 8 game he had 18. 2 steals. This kid is a complete player. Jeff green , ko, sully can provide the scoring. Draft hairston at 17

You need a guy like gordon if u want to win and go far anyways. A guy like gordon is not available every draft year

Fully on board with this one for sure.  He'd be a steal at that pick and addresses a major need (outside shooting/scoring).

I agree with Saric over Gordon.  The Celtics need scoring, and Saric can help them there.  Gordon is an enticing talent, but you add the glue guys once you've already got some talent in place that needs gluing together.

As for Danny trading the pick, I think that's true, but I think everybody outside the top 4 probably feels the same way -- they'll trade a top 10 pick if it means getting Kevin Love or some other star talent.  I doubt Danny is going to trade the #6 simply because the best players available in that range are long term projects who don't address an immediate need.

Gordon is a great player to have, if Danny drafts him I would be really happy.

No assurance saric will come to NA.  Also imagine saric plus KO. Thats very mediocre defense
