McDermott ceiling = Harping? They're nothing alike.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

They are more alike than you think. They are both tough players, decent rebounders and crafty scorers.   Mcdermotts game is much more than shooting the threes. But if he can't play his game in the nba, he will become like a Korver imo

Some questionable comparisons here.  It's always a bit of a fool's game to try and make NBA comparisons to college / foreign athletes, though it is a lot of fun.

Here's my take on the guys available in range of #6:

Gordon --

Ceiling: Shane Battier with Blake Griffin's athleticism.
Floor: A bigger Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

Smart --

Ceiling: Young Jason Kidd without the crazy passing
Floor: Poor man's Wade without the crazy athleticism

Vonleh --

Ceiling: Bosh + better shotblocking, rebounding
Floor: Jordan Hill with a spot-up jumpshot

Saric --

Ceiling: 6'9'' Manu Ginobili
Floor: Omri Casspi / Danilo Gallinari without a jumpshot

Randle --

Ceiling: Rich Man's Carl Landry
Floor: Poor Man's Carl Landry

I knew you would do this =] . Can't you keep it simple?

Some interesting comparisons though.  I disagree Gordon's floor is a bigger MKG.  MKG is not explosive from standstill, not as strong, nor has as high iq.

Is it just me, or does Randle's game remind you a bit of Toine's game when he entered the league?  Very good for a big man off the dribble, strong rebounder, quick for his size?

Kind of but not really. Toine had exceptional passing skills for his height. Better handles.
Toine could of had such a better career if he didn't jack up so many threes.

then who does he compare to in your opinion??

Some ppl say Pippen, but Wiggins has half the iq and passing skills.

I like the Paul George comparison for Wiggins. Although I see Wiggins being better than George.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

That is a very high ceiling if you want to compare Wiggins to George. George has a very good iq and feel for the game.  An excellent on ball and off ball defender

Wiggins is more like a straight arrow. He doesn't sound smart in interviews either

22 PPG with great defense? I think that's a very realistic, reasonable ceiling for Wiggins. He has also shown he has the skills and potential to be a defensive player on George's level. I think Wiggins coming out of college > George coming out of college. People forget George was very raw when he entered the NBA.

And what? He's a 19 year old kid. Forgive him for being nervous on camera. I'm not going to judge his IQ for how he sounds in interviews. Most people his age aren't use to answering questions on live TV.

you make some good points. But Wiggins has poor passing skills and is not a good off ball defender though is an excellent on ball defender.

Imo you either have feel for the game or you don't.  That's why imo Wiggins ceiling is Carter who was an athletic freak once a upon of time, nice jump shot but didn't really make others better.  Not the smartest guy
