I choose Parker. I value proven performance over tantalizing upside. Parker is healthy now, an outstanding player now, and he's going to get better. The same cannot be said for anyone else at the top of the draft until you work your way down to Doug McDermott. I think taking a hit-or-miss shot at the fantastic upside of Wiggins, Embiid, or Exum is crazy when there is a proven young player this good.

I like Embiid but I'm not stressing because wiggins, Parker, exum, Gordon, vonleh, saric, smart, Randell and Embiid would all have been in the discussion for last years number one pick and we are guaranteed a shot at drafting one of these guys.
