I can understand the sentiment, but I for one want to see the Lakers franchise get lost in the woods like we did for 20+ years. That franchise has been 50+ win team for pretty much it's entire existence. They're overdue for a bad run.
TP for you ! this is my thinking too, i don't want the lakers to get another break. i want them to be a joke like how the celtics were for a while. i was born in 1990 so i never got to witness the great rivalries so its not really important for me to witness another bird vs magic era. i kind of just want to see my green dominate the league and the lakers with a strong vengeful iron fist. when dwight ditched LA i was like ok hes not so bad and this season would be fantastic if the celtics were contenders. mitch mugcash is gonna run that organization into the ground ! (fingers crossed)
