If Lance Stephenson is worth 7-9 mil, how much for Bradley?

Lance does many things that Avery can't even fathom doing on a good day. For one, Lance can create for the others around him. Avery, despite the incessant attempts, has not emerged in that aspect. Lance is a very multi-dimensional player, whereas Avery is a one-trick pony.

Also, echoing what many previous posters have pointed out, AB is a niche player; he needs the "correct" system around him to excel. I think that Lance is the type of player that can do well in any situation, given that there is leadership around him. His history suggests that he can be a source of trouble if he's not under the right supervision.

I really don't think Lance should be the anchor to compare Avery's potential contract amount. I'd say that a more equivalent player to compare with would be Iman Shumpert (despite his struggles this season) and Jimmy Butler.

But to answer your question, given Avery's potential and age but also taking into account his one-dimensional skillset, I'd say around 5-6 million per would be fair value for him going forward. Looking forward to see how he plays when Rondo returns.

I hear a lot of people bringing Bradley's height into the discussion here.  He may not be the prototypical height for a SG, but so what?  Would Ben Wallace's lack of height have kept you from wanting him to be your starting center during his prime?  No, because he still was an elite defender regardless of his height.  Would Charles Barkley's height have dissuaded you?  No, because he made it work anyways.

I think the same can be said for Bradley.  Has his height really affected his ability to guard SGs effectively in the NBA?  What SGs have abused Bradley by using their height advantage over him?  Not Wade.  The only players I've seen who have used their height really well vs. Bradley were Evan Turner and Joe Johnson.  Both players are arguably SFs but have played SG and give many wing defenders a hard time with their versatility.

SG is a pretty weak position offensively right now in the NBA and we often stick Bradley on an opposing PG anyways, so Bradley's height is pretty acceptable there.

Well, your list of "many" things seems to be limited to one. It also is the most irrelevant thing for our team, since no team with Rondo as the starting PG will ever need to worry about their SG creating for others.

Sorry I didn't elaborate. The other skills I was referring to was his ability to create his own shot, play both sides of the floor, take it to the basket and convert/ draw a foul (decent FT shooter), post up and use his size advantage on most SGs, hustle relentlessly, to name a few. He's also one of the fiercest competitors every minute he's out there. (More than AB, imo.)

And I think you're overlooking how important creating for others is. Feel free to disagree, but I don't think that just because we have a superb true PG, we shouldn't be looking for other creators. It always helps when more than one guy is able to make other guys on the court play better.
