Jeff Green and Avery Bradley for 2014 unprotected + someone else.
This seems to make the most sense.
Green & Bradley
for
Frye, Goodwin, Kravtsov, Pacers 1st, and Wizards or Suns 1st
Yeah, that's terrible value for Green and Bradley.
I can't see Boston keeping Bradley at 8 million per year and Green has clearly shown he can't be the man so you get a couple of firsts and a couple of young guys and you move on.
How many teams do you see offering Avery $8M/year?
frankly I'm not sure he is worth 6 million a year at this point. His defense seems to have regressed and while he seems to be getting better offensively he isn't improving enough and his flaws are becoming more apparent. With the improved play of Crawford, I think Bradley is expendable. Now granted we have matching rights so we don't have to move him, but if we could get a first in this draft for him, I think I'd probably do it.
If you don't think he's going to get $6M then trading him to avoid paying him $8M doesn't make a lot of sense.
I never said he wouldn't get 6 million a year, I said I wouldn't pay him that. Big Difference. He will get at least the MLE from some team, I just don't think he is worth it and wouldn't pay him that, which means I would move him if I could get a 1st round pick.
