While I agree with this, this is neither here nor there.  I expect this roster to be DRAMATICALLY different as early as next year, when they start actually trying to win games again.

I agree with that as well.  I hope they keep Rondo around, get a high pick and hit the ground running next year.  Just dream for a minute...Rondo, Green, Parker, Sully and KO...with a bench of Lee, Bass, Fav, Bradley...not a title contender but heading in the right direction...

I'm pretty anxious to see what Rondo can do with a roster full of just-above-average players.

I'm interested to see how all of these smart, ball-moving players react to having Rondo back as well.  Will we get the 2nd, 3rd, 4th passes, as among Sully, KO, Wallace, et. al.?

Rondo could very well continue to be the key piece, straw that stirs, etc.

The thing with Rondo and how happy he is to play in Boston is that for the last 5 years, he has been able to play on a winning team with 3 future hall of famers and a very likeable coach.  What is not to like?

Once he comes back this year, he is going to be playing on a bad team that has some guys shooting off their mouths (cough cough Wallace) and an infantile (by NBA coaching standards) rookie coach.

From what we've seen so far I don't think his relationship with the new coach is any worse than his relationship with the old coach.

I think Rondo is going to make this team really entertaining, although I still don't think they'll make the playoffs.

And someone needs to tell Atlanta to stop winning games.  The Nets being bad has really emboldened them

Which is exactly why I would trade Bradley and whatever is needed to match salaries for Eric Gordon. Rondo and Gordon together would be killer.

Rondo needs a shooter, as of late I think Bradley has shown some promise in that area and he is a better defender than Gordon though.

Like Rondo.......try and eep him

Pelican, Pavers, Lakers, Nets , Detroit , all have good big Centers ,  Spurs and Rockets dominant bigs

Miaimi build is  a fluke because of LeBron......he makes ant team a contender , evn without a prime Cente......

To be a contender ....Celtics are going to need a couple serious Bigs.

Wiggins or Parker will not be enough

Celtics  still will require  a center ,  call him whatever ,  you need a pair of very good 7 ft center to contend.

What does this list prove?

Only Pacers, Spurs, and Rockets have teams with a winning record this season so far.

Rondo and Sullinger are the only guys I view as solid starting caliber talents right now.

Green, Faverani, Wallace, Bradley, Bass, and Lee are all nice role players who are probably best suited to come off the bench.

Olynyk and especially Pressey are still acclimating to the NBA game.  Pressey should be in the D-League and Olynyk has earned minutes but he's going to need to work through rookie struggles before he's a consistent positive contributor.
