Is it too much to ask for Klay Thompson?

Pau Gasol.

Remember, Danny has not been shy about vet reclamation projects, regardless of our contention hopes.

Raef, Gary Payton, Antoine Walker, Tom Gugliotta, Wally Z, Jermaine O'Neal, Sheed, Shaq, Gerald Wallace.  Also tried for Karl Malone and Reggie Miller.

This isn't 2007-2008 when so many big names were hitting the market at once (AI, Ray, KG, Pau, Kidd, Shaq), driving the price for big acquisitions down).

Guys like Love and Aldridge are still a ways from hitting the market, and when they do the asking price will be very steep.
