I watched the game,and what I saw wasn't so much padding as "hero ball" in the 4th. The team didn't run, didn't move without the ball, didn't keep the ball moving. It was like Tommy said, "The ball was sticking in a guy's hand." It was Jeff Green trying to be Paul Pierce with iso ball to a large degree, and not getting it done. Wallace taking long jumpers, that he is awful at, and bricking free throws, and Bass trying to create his own shots didn't help either.
Fav wasn't padding anything. He was just getting caught out of position trying to help on drives. That's the guards and forwards fault for putting into those positions. Yes, he also missed some rotations, and over helped a few times, but he's not the veteran on the floor.
