I was thinking about how the team can run their units next year.  I know it is an unpopular idea on the board right now, but our starting 5 can be:

Rondo, Brooks, Olynyk, Sullinger and Green

The next 5 can be:
Bradley, Lee, Humphries, Bass and Wallace.

The first lineup looks pretty strong offensively and the second lineup looks very strong (at least from the perimeter) defensively.  Keep in mind that last year, when Lee and Bradley played together, it seemed to energize the team with ball pressure.

I know this team will probably not win more than 35 games, but I would like to see them compete and not just "tank."  Those lineups can scare a few teams.

One more thought - if the Celts reach their ceiling of say, 35 wins, that could be enough for the 7 or 8 seed.  Can you imagine playing Brooklyn in the first round of the playoffs?

Rondo/Brooks/Green/KO/Sully seems like a decent starting line up. I still think Sully can guard most Centers, obviously if their too big, we'll probably put Iverson on him.

Pressey/Bradley/Wallace/Humphries/Iverson or the new Center.

I see Lee as the odd man out along with Bass.

Bass is definitely going to get moved to a contender that might need him.

Just curious why you think the Celts are going to move Bass and Lee.  I am all for it, if we can get a good return for it, but they seem like good role players to have and I am not sure we can get better bench players, or even a starter for them.

Bass isn't that over paid, and may not rebound as well. But is a good defender, and has a nice mid range jump shot. Besides not being able to rebound, which he makes up for rebounding Bass is a decent PF. I never liked Bass, cause I really dislike undersized players. But he has a decent contract, and can prove to be a good role player for any team wanting to contend. If we can sell him for a 2nd rounder to a team that has space, then I'd be all for it.

With Lee there is still value, but I doubt he's getting traded if he was invited to join Green to see the young talent. That means he definitely has place or some type of precedence in the team. He definitely has value. Regardless of his poor shooting, it wasn't as bad since he didn't take so many shots per game. But if you can increase his confidence, and upping his shots to fall in more. Courtney Lee from Houston is a very valuable piece, especially as a good sized guard who can defend well, and shoot the 3. A lot of teams like the Grizzlies, Bucks, or Mavs will definitely need someone like him.

I just don't see how you can't start Avery Bradley.  He's set in stone at the 2 guard spot.

Rondo/Bradley/Green/

That is set in stone.

The rest is up for grabs.
