  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
I mean he's 7 foot and reasonably athletic. He's got the size and needs to gain more strength to go with that size but there's still plenty of potential.
I mean he's completely destroyed some D league games and the competition in those is on a comparable level to the summer league minus a few standouts.

You can see his footwork is good and his aggression is usually pretty good. Fab isn't the kind of guy who is usually scared- I really do think he's over thinking things a little during this summer league though.

I'd say at this point the odds are against him but he's got a 30% chance of being a long term NBA big man. His ceiling is probably someone like Ian Mahinmi as I said before. Not sure whoelse you could draw up a ceiling for him with.
I do Fred's comments above about Perkins. He was heinous and with time was a good role player. I'd give him a few seasons, now that we are pretty much locked into rebuild mode.
I mean here's some highlights against D league bums of the last 6-9 months if you need some hope...I do agree he's a probable bust.

"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Guys, Fab was the 22ND pick. 22ND picks generally DON'T make it. They usually are journeymen role players at best, most are end of bench types who sneak into rotations on occasion.

Fab is actually over-performing his draft position at this point, having a fairly decent D-League season and is improving year-over-year. Here are the 22 picks since 1980

reasonably athletic.

This is up for debate.
