For a second round 7 footer, not bad. Enforcer is likely his upside though. The two biggest things I see is that he is very slow and deliberate in all his movements. Probably too slow for NBA competition. He also clearly only has one post move. A drop step jump hook to his right hand. With his limited vertical, he will have a hard time getting that off in the big leagues. That being said, if he is willing to just be a big body, then he might have a future.
Might be too slow, but we won't really know until he plays a bit and has a chance to adjust to the pace. Some guys can do it, some can't. Iverson *has* the length, can jump a bit, and is a wide body. I'd compare him to Greg Ostertag...I'd *love* for him to give Ostertag's production.
Colt never showed a jump shot in college, but he looked really good in a video I saw of him after the draft. Sure it was a highlight *practice* reel, but he hit quite a few shots from 3 and 2, one after another with pretty good form. He had a slow release, but it was quick enough and he looked accurate enough to force teams to account for him if he steps outside. Can he do it in games? Probably, not right away, but given a little time he probably can.
I'd say he has a chance of being a backup center on a good team. He'll have to be able to adjust to NBA speed and he'll have to keep working on that jump shot.
