As much as I loved Doc, one thing he did was always a let down.

Playing the new/young guys.

Now on a contending team this was not only difficult but at most times really dumb. Now that all that is over, Doc and the bif names to keep these guys on the bench, I want to see them play.

We are not going to make the playoffs but we are not going to tank so why not let the hungry guys get a shot? I think a new coach will look at this roster and outside of Rondo and Green will have many different lineups at any given time.

Ok Danny, we're not tanking, but why not let Kelly and Colton get extra minutes (coach's job but Danny can pass the word). I was thinking a 2013 Orlando type situation with established guys getting their minutes but the young un tested players geting their time too.

Thoughts?
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Why do we have to take the Orlando approach?  We have established NBA players, including one multiple time all star, around whom the Cs can build.  Green, Lee, Sullinger and Bradley have proven to be effective rotation players.  I think the Cs should build around these players.  Miami may only have one more year of their big 3, and if one of them is injured and we have built around our core, the Cs stand a chance of contending, or at least making the team attractive for better players in 2014/2015.
