most likely Clips have verbal agreement from CP3 to stay if Scott  or Shaw coaches,   but they are still hoping for Doc.   hard to see CP3 leave that much money behind and walk off the Clippers.

Think this situation backfired on Doc somewhat and tarnished his image .  Probably both teams would be better to move on from Doc Rivers.   His motives seem totally self serving and not of someone who can be trusted.

Until clippers hire coach , the possibility remains,  I think they are trying o wear down DA and hope he' just say screw it and release Doc anyway from the contract ,  which  I doubt will happen .

they are stubborn though,  if they truly needed Doc to stay to keep CP3 ,  they would have capitulated long ago.    They obviously think he'll stay with one of the other coaches.

you would think they would just hire the one they want and go on down the road.

not done soon , everyday goes by less chance happening

Why are you still posting here? You've done nothing but troll with negativity and have been WRONG about everything. CP3 doesn't care if they don't get Doc blah blah blah just go back to Clips Nation or wherever you came from.
