i don't see it happening, especially not if the Clips (though the deal is now dead) forms a super team of CP3-PP-Blake-KG with a deep bench of Billups, Bledsoe, Crawford and Odom, and with Doc at the helm.

Yes -- it is hard to see any of the other title contenders making large enough improvements to beat Miami.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
They are no doubt the heavy favorites.

They are simply the most talented team in the league right now.

I politely disagree. The close scrapes they had with The Spurs and Indiana this season and Boston last, indicate Miami are a very beatable team. Even though beating them is hard, it is quite doable. Look at Barçelona in the European Champion's league. People laughed when I said they were slowly being figured out, now they get blown out of the water by Bayern Munich.

With Russell Westbrook, Rondo, K Love, D Granger, and D Rose back it could be harder for them. Plus they're overdue for an injury of their own

Well I politely disagree with you too.  A few people are saying that "barely won" is the same as "almost lost". That is not necessarily the case.  Did you see how gassed SAS was?  My feeling is LBJ has another gear that he kicks in when his team needs it.  That's what happened in the last six minutes of game 7. He is so talented an strong that he can just give the game what it needs at any given moment.

Then there's a few here who seem to be BANKING on Miami have a major injury.  That is also not necessarily going to happen. Right now, Miami is the favorite to win again next year.
