  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
NO AL

Milsap ...YES

we don't need undersize 6'8
we need height to move kg back at pf

Actually Krook, Millsap would be a much better fit on this team than big Al. Millsap is younger, faster and a better overall player. He'd be perfect in the power forward position next to Garnett.
We need an inside scorer like Big Al, but we also need a runner and that's what Millsap does- he can run the floor with Jeff Green and Rondo.
Big Al is just a little too old now and against teams like the Heat and Knicks, having Millsap would be better.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Hopefully too hard because big al is not the center this team should be wanting/needs

i need a guy who can make used of terry lee crawford t-will talents

kg as pick n' pop in pf sounds good
he can rebounds and score easy having height advantage

center with good rebounding skills and some low post scoring and maybe 3 or 4 or 2 blocks a game is ok also
pick n' roll center with rondo terry etc; works good

just like having shaq and perkins before, with baby as pf and powe and kg, we need to bring that back, we got sully and kg for pf now we need a center (agree with me)
that is the best idea

heat vs' celtics kg on haslem sounds good
knicks vs' celtics kg on tyson.. don't think so..
and boozer will kill bass at pf, kg at boozer find a big man for noah
z-bo and gasol tandem, we are dead

  Al's 28 or 29. I don't know how that's too old. Millsap's only a year younger.

I would put my effort into getting Gortat rather than Big Al. Gortat and Rondo would be a great pick n roll tandem. He also has much better D than Big Al

If we're not going to move Rondo - and I still hope Danny revives those efforts - then Gortat is a FAR better option than a one-trick-pony like Big Al No D.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."
