It's kind of pathetic that she aired him out like that. Knowing that he's engaged and has kids why put it on twitter? Seems kind of desperate on her part to get attention from this.

I don't know why not let the world know he is a dog.   If he is engaged then he has no business asking her out.  As for the attention part I can't say but I do not condone him asking out peeps when in a relationship.   Maybe it's a generation thing I am in my mid 40s and been married 22 years to the same person but I think he is culprit.

Was it a date?  I thought he asked her to dinner at the dining hall?  Does that automatically suggest he was trying to cheat on his fiancee'?

I found it a bit odd that the author of the ESPN article would even attempt to compare "Combat Troops" to Olympic athletes.

Olympians are young, supremely healthy people who've been training with the intensity of combat troops for years.

I think Combat Troops have a bit more at stake than these athletes.

I agree. She should of kept her mouth shout, but clearly she showed her age. She's 21yrs? But Lebron should of knowing better. I doesn't matter if it was a friendly gesture he should of been cautious. Someone of his of his celebrity should use better judgement.

Instead of asking that girl out why don't he ask his fiancee out. Some guys just ask for drama.

If his only true motives were sustenance and socialization with a new acquaintance/possible future friend, why ask someone to dinner in a joking manner?

There's only two reasons I can think of:  you're interested in the person and want an out to avoid embarrassment if she rejects you, or you want an out if the media catches wind and you then need to answer to your children and finance.

He apparently has gotten people to fall for both.

I mean this chick is a freakin gold medalist and people are believing that she's naive enough to have confused the advances of one of the most famous athletes there with a simple platonic meal???  We're just to ignore her conclusion which had the advantage of context clues, body language, and verbal cues?  And give a professional athlete the benefit of the doubt when it comes to adultery?
