Of the 12 players (including Kris Jospeh) we currently have on the roster, 10 (not including Joseph) are signed for next year also.  Meanwhile, because few of the contracts we currently have have a spike in value next year, and Pierce's even decreases by $1.4 million, we should be well under the apron (projected by the CBA to be at $83.9 million.)  This gives us the ability to add another player at the Mid-level, have plenty of room to add salary in a S&T, use the BAE if we don't use it this year (which at this point I think we shouldn't) and perhaps even stay below the luxury tax (which will make his bosses happy.)

Assuming we have the same 1st round slot as last year, here are our salaries, with a mid-level, and with Joseph not guaranteed.

I could have misread something, but here is the table from Larry Coon's FAQ:

well, Danny's definitely locked the team in for a 3-year run with this core group.  If they do well together, yes he's done a great job.  If they bomb or if the injury bug hits yet again, we may be feeling differently before the season's out.  Personally, I think they're going to be a [dang] good team this year, especially if they can get another decent backup center.

This team is going to be fine for multiple years.  Barring a season and/or career altering injury to KG or Rondo, it is at least and ECF contender for the next 2-3 years.  If one of those two get hurt, we are worst a low playoff seed.  If both get hurt, we are probably a 6-8 seed.  If the world ends, we don't make the playoffs.

He has also managed to collect a fair amount of (still) young talented players on team friendly contracts which will makes for some great assets when facilitating trades.
