I figure if Sullinger can become a 16 and 7 guy that would be brilliant for a player picked at 21. I tend to think he can.
He can become more than that. Doc is already encouraging him to keep expanding his shooting range, and said that Sullinger's jump shot is under-rated.
Sullinger obviously has great shooting touch, and he shot 40% from college 3. That's much better than Austin Rivers, % wise.
So if Sullinger expands his game to account for his height disadvantage, which any 20 y.o. is perfectly capable of doing, I can see him becoming a 23-24 ppg scorer. Perhaps sooner rather than later. 3-4 years. Not a stretch at all.
