Rockets trade Buddinger toT-Wolves for the18th pick

That's a bit of an overpay for Minny.  Adelman must be really fond of Budinger.

My sentiments exactly. If Buddinger is worth the 18th overall, then Avery Bradley must be worth a top 10 pick.

Question: if the Pistons, who own the #9 pick, called and said they'd trade the #9 pick straight up for Avery Bradley, take it or leave it (i.e.: right now on Tuesday night, before you see how the draft unfolds), would you take it?

I'd be sorely tempted. I would normally say "no" because a bird in hand.... and all that. But the #9 pick? especially given that the Cs own two other picks? they should be able to land someone good or wheel and deal for a good existing player especially given how much current wheeling and dealing is going on....

I certainly think that a Stuckey/Bradley backcourt for the Pistons is a lot more attractive than teaming Stuckey with Gordon as they have the last 3 yrs. And I don't think the recent trade for Maggette solves that problem for them.

For the #9, I'd target Meyers Leonard.

I would pass only because between 8-23 it seems that the names are the same but the order is a lot different. Some mocks have Perry Jones going 6 or 7 and others have him going to the Celtics...I saw a mock with Dion Walters heading to a team with the 17th pick. Sullinger is the real wild card in the draft and I fully expect him to be gone by the time the Celtics select, especially if the Rockets keep all three picks.

Bradley is more of a sure thing than what would come at #9, this is a 6 maybe 7 person draft. If you can package him and a pick or two to get to #4 or #5 then sure make the deal
