Free agent classes two years away always seem better than ones coming up. That's because teams will work hard to please their quality players in a contract year. It's kind of tiring to see posters on here say "oh wait till 2013/14 because this list of guys will be available", because 9/10ths of those guys will be gone by the time that year rolls around.

Yeah exactly.  Danny is too dumb to do that and I'm a big fan of the proposed Simmons plan.  We can still contend and be set up for next year.

Im not sure how I feel about Camby, the dude is ancient but if its for a vets minimum I guess I wouldn't mind

FYI you wouldn't need to lose Brandon Bass and Ray Allen to sign someone like Marcus Camby.  You'd just need to re-sign everyone using bird rights and then sign Camby for the vet minimum or one of the exceptions.  We're talking about a guy who is like 80 years old.
