The Drink-Tossing Fan

There was one thing last night that I considered disgraceful, and it was this. There's no shame in having the best player in the game have a transcendent game against you. There is absolutely shame in being represented by someone like this. Obviously this the action of one person, but it reflects poorly on the entire fan base, and that sucks.

This classless loser of a fan with one toss made Lebron look like a better man, and Celtics fans like a bunch of punks. Thanks guy! I hate Lebron, but just a little less now with the way he handled that situation. Props to you, and that loser in the fans deserves to be banned from the building for life.

I think it was a cleverly-designed ploy to get LeBron to charge into the stands, Artest-style, causing chaos and mayhem and forcing David Stern to suspend him for Game 7.

In fact, I think Red Auerbach himself dumped that beer!  There weren't any cigar ashes in it, were there?

Ya, there isn't anything good about a drink thrown on a guy....and you know they wouldn't do it face to face..if you wouldn't do it that way, then don't do it at all......I would rather our guy gets a drink thrown on him...AFTER WE win..!!!

was it classless, yes.  but i could careless.  it was one jerk who did it.  if people want to lump the entire fanbase based on the actions of one person, screw them.

Has anyone considered the possibility that the "Drink-Tossing" fan was actually a Lakers fan disguised as a Celtic fan trying to make the Celtics fans appear classless.  Don't be so quick to judge.  Another possibility... the beer was terrible and had to be thrown away...  Lebron happened to be passing below

the cheers were awesome, and everybody were saying how Boston has the best fans...

and then the beer tossing guy just tainted everything. I was so disappointed at that point.

As much as i hate Lebron, i cringed when i saw this happen. I was actually feeling great after that four minutes of lets go celtics and then to see this ass clown pour a drink on him made me fairly irate.
